The name’s Josh D Compton. I’m a Professional Writing Student at Michigan State University concentrating in Digital and Technical Writing with a Specialization in Design slated to graduate in 2012. I’m a Writer, User Advocate, Designer & Photographer

To answer your question, Professional Writing is actually an umbrella term for what I do specifically…I am a technical and web author that believes in the power of aesthetics and user experience.

Being a Digital and Technical Writer, I have the ability to mix advanced web languages, technologies and advanced research methods with rhetorical principles while constantly considering an end user to solve the real world problems presented to me.

I’ve slowly been discovering that your outlook on life is defined by the attitude with which you view it. My life is great because I see the great things about it (that’s the theory anyway…it’s a little harder to live it when you’ve got an unpaid internship and a $500 CC bill).
